This Privacy Policy explains how FindaTap collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the FindaTap mobile app and related services. “FindaTap”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the FindaTap app.

 

If you do not agree with this policy, do not use FindaTap.

 

  1. What FindaTap does

    FindaTap helps you find water refill locations and track your water intake. It may also show links to third party products and services.

  2. Information we collect

 

2.1 Information you provide

Account information (if you create an account): name, email address, and login details.

Content you submit: for example, feedback you send us, support messages, and any location suggestions you submit.

 

2.2 Information collected automatically

App usage data: screens viewed, features used, crash reports, performance data.

Device data: device type, operating system version, app version, language, and identifiers used for analytics or security.

Approximate location: derived from IP address or general device settings, depending on your permissions.

 

2.3 Location data

Precise location (optional): If you allow location permissions, we collect precise location to show nearby refill points and improve map accuracy. You can use FindaTap without precise location by searching manually.

 

2.4 Water intake data

If you use the tracking feature, we collect the water intake amounts and timestamps you enter.

 

2.5 Payments

If FindaTap offers paid features, payments are processed by Apple or Google (or another payment provider). We do not receive your full payment card details.

 

2.6 We do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect special category data under UK GDPR, such as health data. If you choose to record intake, you are providing lifestyle information and you can delete it at any time.

    Provide core app features, including maps, search, and intake tracking.

    Improve the app, including fixing bugs and analysing performance.

    Personalise your experience, for example remembering your preferences.

    Respond to support requests and user messages.

    Intake data is kept until you delete it or delete your account.
